Sansing McPherson

Sansing Smith McPherson grew up in Montgomery, AL. She graduated from Auburn University, Magna Cum Laude, with a degree in English. She married her hometown sweetheart, Terry McPherson, and raised their two children in Randolph, NJ. She has taught English and Writing from elementary through college levels. She and her husband enjoyed travels, from the depths of SCUBA diving the Blue Hole of Belize to the heights of Machu Picchu in Peru. After retiring to Hilton Head Island, SC, she finally had time to write and joined the Island Writers' Network. Her first book, SWEAT SISTERS, grew out of her middle school experiences with a hot political climate, an aerobics class, and menopause. Kirkus Review named it a Recommended Indie Selection. Her second novel, AFTER PARIS, a sequel to SWEAT SISTERS, follows the complicated love affair between French teacher Mariana and her Supervisor, Max Durant. Both books are available on Amazon.
